What is a Continuous Inkjet Printer?
With CIJ printers one can print variable data, including alphanumeric text, barcodes, lot numbers, expiry dates, and logos at high-speed on any product without contacting or touching the surface of the substrate. It uses a stream of electrical charged ink droplets which is circulated through the print head to create a desired print. The remaining ink recycle back into the system which also helps in avoiding ink wastage.
